I upgraded from the free app with a very easy transfer of data. The main difference in pd vs free is the diabetes and water tracker. I would love it if there was an activity log too (you can log it briefly in the diabetes section) to journal fitness activities. I love the carb counting function and how it shows where you are compared to your daily allowance. I would like it to do this for the other nutrients eg protein. Another wish is that the "favourites" section of the food list alphabetized entries.
